🎉 GARBE has completed the new sustainable HQ for Alfen BV 🏢

We’ve completed the new HQ, warehousing and production facility for Alfen in Almere, the Netherlands! This marks another significant milestone in our commitment to sustainable development and innovation in the logistics industry.

Key highlights:
– Sustainability: BREEAM certified, including an A+++++ energy label, and equipped with solar panels, recycled materials, LED lighting, and heat pumps for efficient heating and cooling.
– Location: Business park De Vaart in #Almere (logistics hotspot #2 of the Netherlands), 30 km’s from Amsterdam, ensuring excellent connectivity and operational efficiency.
– Specifications: 24,000 sqm logistics facility and 3,700 m2 of innovative office space, both designed to meet the growing demand for smart energy solutions and to house 500 people from the former Alfen HQ.

The acquisition at the time was made on behalf of GARBE Logistikimmobilien Fonds Plus III S.C.A., SICAV-RAIF a Luxembourg-based, pan-European investment fund for logistics and light industrial properties, and represents the first Dutch ‘develop to hold’ asset for the fund.
