Construction work has begun on a future-oriented property in Victoria Park Hamburg, where components for hydrogen production will be manufactured, tested and stored.
Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH and the Jebens Group are realizing the property with a total area of around 18,000 square meters in a joint venture.
Even before the official start of construction, the building has already been leased to H-TEC SYSTEMS GmbH on a long-term basis.
The company, which belongs to MAN Energy Solutions, specializes in the development and production of PEM electrolysers for the generation of green hydrogen.
Right next door, Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH can report another letting success: The technology company Freudenberg Sealing Technologies will move to the multi-user campus.
The property with a total area of around 12,000 square meters is scheduled for completion in February next year.

GARBE was able to secure approx. 65,000 sqm of land at this strategically and logistically very attractive location close to the Hermsdorfer Kreuz intersection.
