Hellmann Worldwide Logistics expands in Norderstedt!
We are developing further – and the Hellmann World Cargo Center Norderstedt right away!
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is expanding its logistics space in Norderstedt directly at the Hamburg Airport on a new 5,500 sqm. The wish of the existing tenant for an enlargement, as well as the property adjacent to the WCC Norderstedt, which we still hold, are perfectly made for each other.
The location of the WCC in the Nordportbogen business park – directly at Hamburg Airport – is the perfect location for transport-related interim storage and the handling of air freight by Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
For the customer, the location was particularly important. Adjacent to the WCC, we were able to realize the desire for more space directly at Hamburg Airport.
Planning
Together with our general contractor and our customer Hellmann, we have used the property as effectively and built on it as possible.
Consulting
Together with our existing tenant Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Air & Sea GmbH & Co. KG, we analyzed the logistics processes within the logistics property and took into account all important aspects in the planning and construction.
Construction
The construction of the extension by an approx. 5,500 m² logistkhalle will be realized within 9 months and will be handed over to the tenant in spring 2020.
Features
With the construction of the further logistics and office space, we offer our tenant Hellmann the opportunity to expand their logistics processes right next to the current property. In addition, about 50 employees of Hellmann from the Hamburg city area will be relocated to Norderstedt.
We always try to meet the wishes of our customers. The expansion of Hellmann in Norderstedt is one of our best examples!
