Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH is strengthening its presence in West Germany. The Hamburg-based logistics real estate developer opened an office in Cologne for this purpose. Since 1 January, Frank Soppa (46) has been responsible at this new location for market management and acquisition of sites in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland as Regional Manager West.
Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH is already represented with several major projects in these states. Among these is a project in which the company has successfully revitalized conversion areas on the site of the former Westfalenhütte in Dortmund, which now accommodates several logistics properties for well-known retailers and service providers such as Amazon, Decathlon, DB Schenker and ID Logistics.
Frank Soppa completed his training as a merchant in the real estate and housing industry. After studying Business Administration, he gained experience in project management and acquisition while working as a Regional Business Development Manager at Sirius Facilities, a business park developer and operator. Before joining Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH, Frank Soppa was responsible for project development and marketing of logistics and industrial real estate at Hellmann Investment GmbH in Düsseldorf.
