Garbe Industrial Real Estate develops for Union Investment multi-user property near Munich

Hamburg/Moosburg, 13 August 2020 – Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH is accelerating its activities in the metropolitan area of Munich. The Hamburg project developer is developing a multi-user property with a hall area of 8,400 square meters on a 16,700 square meter site for Union Investment in Moosburg an der Isar (district of Freising). Completion is scheduled for November this year. Union Investment had acquired the project as part of the Logistrial portfolio deal for its open-end real estate fund UniImmo: Europa.

The new building on the Degernpoint industrial estate is suitable for production and trade as well as for logistics services. The larger part of the building with 5,300 square meters of hall space and 720 square meters of office and social space has already been leased to C+R Hydraulics GmbH. The company specializes in the manufacture and storage of hydraulic components, which will be delivered all over the world from the Moosburg site by the end of the year. C+R Hydraulics GmbH has branches in Stuttgart, Wuppertal and Terneuzen (Netherlands).

“We are delighted to have found a suitable location for us and a property tailored to our needs,” explains Hans Raab, Managing Director of C+R Hydraulics GmbH.

The other approx. 3,100 square meters of hall space under construction are currently being marketed. The space can easily be divided into two smaller units of 1,500 square meters each. “This flexibility makes the property interesting for various potential uses,” Hempel emphasizes. The project developer is holding talks with both regional and national companies.

The real estate service provider BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as an intermediary and advisor for the lease to C+R Hydraulics GmbH.
