Hamburg/Kaiserslautern, 10 June 2020 – Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH wants to further expand its activities in the German federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate and has thus acquired a development area of around 31,000 square metres with an unleased existing property in Kaiserslautern.
“The approximately 4,400 square meter large and currently vacant building offers good letting potential and can be used flexibly, for example for the logistics, commercial, light industrial and production sectors,” says Jan Dietrich Hempel, managing director of Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH. The existing space on the property can be extended by a further 9,000 square metres of hall space, whereby user-specific developments are also possible. The location is suitable both as a single-tenant property for single letting and as a multi-user property with several tenants. The Hamburg project developer was supported in this transaction by Immolox GmbH from Frankfurt am Main in an advisory and intermediary manner. The seller of the property was Saitow AG, which previously used the hall for its own purposes.
“We are currently in further talks about leasing the space at the location,” Jan Dietrich Hempel explains the status quo. One advantage is the location which has excellent transport infrastructure. The location is connected to the A6 motorway via the Kaiserslautern-West junction, which is only about five kilometres away and which allows other regional and national destinations to be reached quickly.
Garbe Industrial Real Estate wants to further expand its presence in Rhineland-Palatinate in the future. Jan Dietrich Hempel: “We want to grow in the southwest of Germany and are currently looking for further suitable properties and investment objects.
