For more than 30 years we have been one of the specialists for logistics and corporate real estate.
Our company history in the field of real estate goes back to the 80s. Initially, the focus of our company was on the development and construction of residential and commercial properties. However, the foundation of GARBE Industrial Real Estate GmbH marked a decisive turning point, as from this point on we increasingly focused on the expansion and specialization in the industrial real estate segment, especially logistics.
Company formation
Founding of the company by Bernhard Garbe.
Garbe Logistic AG
The Garbe Logistic AG was founded.
First institutional fund in management
Participation of the Nixdorf family
Participation of the Nixdorf family and foundation of an institutional investment platform in Luxembourg.
Generation change
Bernhard Garbe takes over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Christopher Garbe & Jan Dietrich Hempel become members of the Executive Board of Garbe Logistic AG.
Location expansion
Garbe opens another location in Frankfurt.
Business expansion
Expansion of business to include corporate real estate, launch of GUNIF 1.
Garbe Logistic AG becomes GARBE Industrial Real Estate
Opening of offices in Berlin and Cologne and change of name and logo from Garbe Logistic AG to GARBE Industrial Real Estate GmbH.
Location expansion
Garbe opens two more offices in Stuttgart and Munich.
Expansion of the business areas
Foundation of the business units NDC-GARBE Data Centers Europe GmbH and Power Asset Core Energy GmbH – entry into the fields of activity Data Center and Photovoltaic Systems.
